Duties:
- Install, repair, and maintain roofs using a variety of materials such as shingles, tiles, and metal - Inspect roofs for damage and determine the best course of action for repairs or replacements - Remove old roofing materials and properly dispose of them - Measure and cut roofing materials to fit specific dimensions - Apply waterproofing materials to roofs to prevent leaks - Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient completion of projects - Adhere to safety guidelines and regulations while working at heights Skills:
- Proficient in caulking and sealing techniques - Knowledge of drywall installation and repair - Ability to plumb and align roofing materials accurately - Experience in restoring damaged roofs to their original condition - Familiarity with blueprint reading for roof installation projects - Skilled in concrete forming for roof foundations - Capable of heavy lifting and physical labor required for roofing projects - Maintenance Person skills for general repairs and maintenance tasks - Proficiency in metal stud framing for roof structures Note:
Previous experience as a roofer or laborer is preferred.
Must be able to work at heights and in various weather conditions.
Safety training and certification is a plus.
